I became familiar with Costco last night. We don’t have them in France (at least, not when we moved to Melbourne!), and one just opened around the corner from us in the Docklands.
Most people were buying Coca-Cola and white bread in industrious quantities (oh no!). We walked out with a 1kg bag of Mrs May’s, 1 kg of almonds and 1 kg of walnuts. You should have seen the look on most parents’ faces when their kids realised there was such a thing as a bucket of 1,000 Chupa Chups, and subsequently asked for it. Epic.

We are moving! Not too far: 10 floors up. I know: it’s missing the whole changing neighbourhood aspect of moving, but we’re really happy.
To help me visualise and play around with possible furniture placement, Christian made me this floor plan, complete with small cut outs (to size) of all our furniture.
He’s wonderful.
I'm Sabine, a French expat from Provence living in Melbourne with my Australian husband. I like it here, but it's not really home - I will explain why bit by bit and occasionally also rant. Say hello: adailything [at] gmail [dot] com :)
