I’ve never done cocaine
Posted in regular by Sabine on January 5, 2010
Aren’t you glad you know that about me?
My gums were however injected with 3 capsules of cocaine-based anaesthetic today. I asked my dentist what was in the stuff to make conversation. Also to distract myself while I was freaking out thinking of the impending dental doom about to befall my chompers.
I’m now in pain, grumpy, and my right cheek looks like it’s harbouring reserves of grain for winter. You’re probably not glad you know that.

That sucks about your tooth. I have to go to the dentist for some fillings on the 10th of Feb. I wish dentists weren’t so stupidly expensive!
Hope you can sleep and feel better soon.
When i had my tooth out, i took a pain relief tablet called Mercyndol and it is an over the counter codeine based pain relief thats stronger then panadeine. Anyway there is a night time version which really helped me sleep when i was in massive amounts of pain.
xoxo
i just left a comment but i don’t think it worked… basically it said if you’re in pain and can’t sleep go to your chemist and ask for Mersyndol for night time. Its fantastic.

rooooo, ma pauvre! Je compatis! J’espère que c’était la dernière fois que tu vois ton dentiste pendant un loooooonnnnngggg moment.
Plein de bisous pour te soutenir.
Lizzie: I will be thinking of you come Feb. 10th – as for the stupidly expensive part, my mother in law yesterday was joking about the advice to ‘marry a dentist’. Ha, ha!
I might have to get acquainted with Mersyndol because panadeine doesn’t really do anything for me.
Hi Sabine
Oh I hope you feel better soon!
Thanks for visiting my blog xxx
Laurel
did your teeth feel happy and confident for a short while at least ;)
Laurel: thank you for your sweet comment! I will visit again ;)
Primoeza: I almost got water up my nose laughing! I definitely felt a kick, and was talking really quickly (or trying at least, since half my face wasn’t moving). I was also feeling slight paranoia!
